United Roar is established.

A breakaway group from ROAR, it is led by school committee members Elvira “Pixie” Palladino and John Kerrigan, and Boston City Councilor Albert “Dapper O’Neil. A new organization is also formed in Charlestown, the Defense Fund, a breakaway group from Powder Keg.
